What is Gloss Plasma, and how does it work?

Gloss Plasma is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses advanced plasma technology to improve skin health, texture, and appearance. It’s commonly used in aesthetic and dermatological practices for anti-aging, brightening, acne management, and overall skin rejuvenation.

Plasma Energy: Gloss Plasma devices generate a highly energized, low-temperature plasma stream. Plasma is the fourth state of matter — like a supercharged gas — and in this form it can penetrate deeply into the skin without damaging the surface.

Deep Dermal Stimulation: Unlike many surface-level treatments, Gloss Plasma penetrates the epidermis (outer layer) and works within the dermis (deeper layer). This stimulates fibroblasts — the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin — key proteins for skin firmness, elasticity, and repair.

Cell Regeneration & Healing: The plasma energy creates a controlled “stress” that activates the body’s natural healing response. This boosts collagen production, skin tightening, and regeneration, leading to firmer, smoother, and clearer skin over time.

Anti-Bacterial & Anti-Inflammatory Effects: Gloss Plasma has sterilizing properties, making it effective for treating acne-prone skin by reducing bacteria and inflammation. It also enhances skin absorption, so serums and active ingredients applied afterward penetrate much more effectively.

Is Gloss Plasma treatment safe?

Yes — Gloss Plasma is generally considered very safe when performed by a trained professional using high-quality devices. It’s non-invasive, needle-free, and doesn’t cause thermal damage like older plasma or laser treatments.

No tissue damage: It uses cold plasma energy (low-temperature plasma), so the surface of the skin isn’t burned or ablated. Non-invasive: No needles, cuts, or penetration of the skin barrier. Minimal downtime: Most people experience only mild redness that fades quickly. Antibacterial effect: Plasma naturally sterilizes the skin, lowering infection risk. Suitable for most skin types: Unlike some lasers, it can often be used across a wide range of skin tones.

Who is an ideal candidate for Gloss Plasma?

Gloss Plasma is best suited for people who want non-invasive skin rejuvenation and are looking to improve skin quality without downtime or harsh procedures.

Anti-Aging Concerns: Individuals with fine lines, wrinkles, sagging, or loss of elasticity who want skin tightening and collagen stimulation. Skin Texture & Tone: People with dull skin, enlarged pores, or uneven tone who want a smoother, brighter complexion. Pigmentation Issues: Those with sun damage, hyperpigmentation, or age spots seeking clearer skin. Acne-Prone Skin: Clients with active acne or acne scars — Gloss Plasma has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits. Preventative Care: Younger clients who want to maintain youthful skin by stimulating collagen production early. Sensitive Skin Types: Those who cannot tolerate strong peels, ablative lasers, or microneedling may benefit from this gentler option.

How long does a treatment session take?

Each session is between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the region treated.

How soon will I see results?

From 3 sessions onwards, depending on your skin type, age, and condition. You’ll notice brighter, firmer skin with smoother texture and a more even tone. Fine lines, acne, and pigmentation will soften, and your glow will keep improving over the next 6 to 8 weeks.

How many sessions will I need?

Most people see the best results after 3 to 6 weekly sessions. Some notice visible improvements in brightness and pore size after just one session. For lasting benefits, maintenance every 3 to 6 months may be recommended.

How long do the results last?

Results generally last 1–2 years, depending on age, skin health, and lifestyle. With regular maintenance, the results will be ongoing.

Is there any downtime after the treatment?

You might see temporary redness or a warm sensation for a few hours. Makeup can usually be worn after 24 hours.

Are there any side effects?

There are no known side effects, but do consult a doctor if you experience any lasting swelling or pain after the session.

Can Gloss Plasma be combined with other treatments?

Our aesthetician will assess your skin type, age, sensitivity, and key concerns such as acne, sagging, or pigmentation. It works best combined with our Gloss Chemical Peel, LED therapy, and serums for optimal results.
